Whale Watching In Maui

Whale Watching Maui

Among the many things Maui is known for, the annual whale migration is perhaps the most impressive.  Every year around October, the humpback whales start arriving in Hawaiian waters. November through April is whale season with February being the peak of the season.

There are numerous ways to enjoy whale watching while in Maui, including kicking back on the beach and watching the whales frolick just off shore or you can get up close and personal on one of the local boat tours. Boat tours range from outrigger canoes, zodiac rafts, commercial cruisers to luxury catamarans. Of course, if you are feeling adventurous you can rent a kayak or stand up paddle board.
