Hawaii Shark Diving Tours

Home>Hawaii Shark Diving Tours

shark dive1Hawaii Shark Dive Tours offer swimming with sharks WITHOUT the cage. This is definitely a once in a life time experience and one of the best things to do in Hawaii! Don’t worry we have a 100% safety record.

shark2Who can go on shark diving?
This is for everyone older than 5 years old! This is not scuba diving it is snorkeling. You may need some amount of swimming experience but our dive master and crew is always there to assist you and floating devices are available if you need it. If you need special assistance or you’re handicapped you must let us know when you book the shark dive tours. +Not recommended for people who have a medical condition such as asthma etc.

shark2What kind of shark or marine life we may see?
You may see Galapagos sharks, Sandbar sharks, Reef sharks, Blue sharks or occasionally Tiger sharks. Other marine life you may see are dolphins, green sea turtles, mahi-mahi, barracuda and monk seal, also look up in the sky there are boobies and iwa birds. (Hale’iwa named after iwa bird. Hale’iwa means, a house of iwa bird.) Winter time you are almost guaranteed to see humpback whales too!

shark dive3shark2How long is the boat ride and how long do we have water time?
It is about 15 minutes ride to the point where we are going to jump in the water. Hawaii Shark Dive Tours only take 6 guests at one time that means all guests can jump in the water at the same time, NO waiting time like other tour boats.

shark2How come it’s expensive compared to other shark dive tours in Hawaii?
We ONLY take 6 people per tour. That means the whole time we are out there you have the chance to be in the water. You do not have to wait for others while it’s their turn in the water. You do not have to waste your time on the boat. More time to enjoy! The entire tour is your time.

shark2Is that safe to swim with sharks without a cage?
Good question. Hawaii Shark Dive Tours have been operating for 10 years in Hawaii. They have a 100% safety record.  The sharks know them. The sharks recognize the Dive master and Captain as an “alpha male”. The sharks know who they are and respect the crew. Please remember they respect us, you need to respect them too. Do not touch the sharks or other wildlife.

shark2shark2Do you pick up from Waikiki, Turtle bay resort or Ko Olina resort?
Pick up services from Waikiki, Turtle bay resort, Ko Olina resort or all other places in Oahu only available with Hawaii Real Nature Private Tour with Shark dive. Contact here. Otherwise please meet the crews at Shark dive tour Kiosk at Haleiwa harbor North Shore Oahu. (You will get details for this Kiosk at the time you make a reservation.)

shark2What happens if we don’t see the sharks?
This is shark sight guarantee! It is unlikely you will not see the shark on the tour but if you don’t you may re-schedule a free tour or full refund. If you are coming on vacation, it is wise to schedule your Shark dive tour during the beginning of your stay so that we can re-schedule if needed.

shark2Are you still going out if the weather is really bad?
No we don’t. In the event that the weather becomes too rough for comfort, we must cancel the tour. This is more likely in the winter to spring months. If the weather condition is too rough we will call your hotel or cell phone the day before.  This is another reason why you should schedule your shark dive tour during the beginning of your stay so we can re-schedule you and you will not miss the sharks!

shark2What time is better for the tour?
Definitely in the morning. Morning is usually calmest weather condition.  7:30 am or 9:30 am tours are recommended. (You must come to a Kiosk 15 minutes before (20 minutes is recommended.)
